X-CART Back in Stock Email Notification. This module has been developed to allow X-CART store owners to implement a Back in Stock Email Notification for customers who require a product that is currently out of stock. When the stock is updated, then an email notification is sent to the customer. How it Works A customer is browsing your store, and comes across a product that they want, but it appears to be out of stock. So, a link is displayed, which allows the customer to enter their email address. When the product is updated and stock returns, an email is sent to the customer (which can be customised in the email templates) informing them that the product is once again available, with a link to the product within the store. Product updates, can be preformed in any location with the admin area. (ie. Inventory Update, Product List, Detailed Product). A great tool for catching up on the sales that you may have missed while the product was out of stock Instructions are provided for installation, however, X-CART Plus will install this module for a small additional fee if required.
